Combustion Engineer

We have an opportunity for a Combustion Engineer to join us at Honeywell, across the UK region, where you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing combustion systems for various applications, ensuring the efficiency and safety of combustion processes, while also contributing to innovative solutions that meet customer needs.

This is a field-based role, with travel across the UK, the ideal engineer would be located in and around the Midlands or the North East areas.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting advanced engineers to achieve on-site installation, commissioning, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems, working independently at times.
• Prepare site visit reports and maintain accurate documentation for submission to clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate combustion technologies into larger systems and solutions.

Key skills and qualifications

• Good knowledge of mechanical systems including industrial installation experience (plumbing, pipework, hydraulics)
• Ability to read and understand P&IDs, and electrical schematics.
• Previous combustion experience working with process gas and oil burners is desirable.
• Commercial Gas certification (COCN1, TPCP1, CCN1, CIGA1, CORT1 & CDGA1, ICPN1) is desirable. 
• Full driving licence to travel to customer sites in region/country
